JUNE TRANSIT WATCH

This month we have a New Moon which is a Solar Partial Eclipse on the 1^st June at 11 Gemini. The Eclipse starts at Tokyo across parts of Russia and Canada. We may hear of more earthquakes, highs winds and destructive storms. The degree for this eclipse falls in the second decan of Gemini traditionally related to causing piracies, thefts and murders. When an eclipse falls in an air sign like Gemini, it is unfortunate for foreign affairs and any negotiations related to treaties or alliances.

Using the Gemini rising for American Independence like Gann, this eclipse at 11 Gemini falls conjunct the Ascendant at 8 Gemini and Natal Uranus. Therefore, this eclipse is directly triggering the point of their independence putting USA in focus once again. Cast for Washington, the eclipse falls in the 8^th house of the mundane chart which is an unfortunate position for the government. The 8^th house is associated with death and debt and there may be a death of some prominent person in the state.

For Australia, the eclipse falls in the first house of the mundane chart. The sign of Gemini is all about movement, negotiations, adaptability and less about stability and structure. Lots of plans and discussions which may not come to concrete fruition.

On the 4^th June Jupiter the planet of growth and expansion moves into Taurus the sign of the earthy bull.  With Timing Solution price slice tool, I have generated a chart overlapping 6 cycles of  Jupiter’s transits through Taurus using historical Dow Jones Data, that is 72 years of looking back.  Overall the statistics show a 53.3 % chance of  declining energy. Jupiter remains in the same sign approximately 12 months.

On the 8^th June, Jupiter forms a sextiles to Neptune which often brings a little sign of temporary relief in the markets. This positive energy may be short lived as Mars comes to the midpoint of Saturn/Pluto which is a hard and forceful energy around the 14^th June just one day before the lunar eclipse on the 15^th June at 24 Sagittarius.

Mars moves into Gemini on the 20^th June, this equates to hot air, literally and also symbolically. Mars feels frustrated in an air sign, so you may find that communication with others may get quite heated.

Overall, the May of month does not have any major aspects occuring between the outer planets. However as you can see in the transit list, the faster moving planets are applying to make  many positive conjunctions, sextiles and trines within the month. The balance is in favour of a green light - so to speak. The stellium in Aries continues to provide fuel.The month begins with Mars forming a conjunction with Jupiter suggesting enterprise and quick, impulsive expansion. The 11th and the 20th of May have the most clustering energy, thus will be important dates to mark in your calendar.

Mars, the planet of war ingresses into zero Aries on the 2nd April, triggering the Aries Ingress Sun and giving MArs full strength in his ruling sign. The day after, Mars conjoins Uranus who last month also moved into Aries. This combined energy is sudden, violent, explosive and revolutionary. Since Mars moves into a cardinal sign, it will make aspects to Uranus, Pluto , Jupiter and  Saturn therefore,  April is full of intensity, force and power struggles. *** Importantly, on the 20th April, Mars will form a hard square to the Jan 4th Solar Eclipse degree, which was visible over the Middle East. This will trigger another alert in the zone . Overall, the stock market is likely to be very volatile and erratic as a consequence.

The New Moon on April 4^th at 0.32 am set for Canberra Australia AEST occurs in the third house, at the midpoint of a huge stellium with Mars, Uranus, Moon, Sun, Jupiter, Mercury all in the fire sign of Aries. Opposing this band of fire is the cold planet Saturn in Libra- the sign of judgment. For the Australian Government, the 3^rd and 9^th houses are highlighted. We are likely to hear news of troubles concerning media, railways, aviation, postal services and even danger of accidents concerning major forms of transportation. Mars conjoins Uranus on the 3^rd just before the New Moon- this is sudden explosive energy often causing turbulence, lawlessness, strikes, murders, explosions and earthquakes. Saturn is exactly opposite the New Moon in the 9^th house suggesting troubles connected with foreign trade, commerce, shipping and even storms and collisions at sea.

The Aries Stellium runs from Central Australia, South Australia and all Eastern Australia putting the country in the spotlight once again -the Mars/Uranus runs through Darwin. Melbourne also has the Jupiter Saturn opposition axis along is longitude and Cairns in the North. On the other side of the pacific, the stellium culminates over South America namely Rio de Janiero.

Another significant celestial event during this lunation is the ingress of Neptune into Pisces, the sign it was given rulership over. Last time it was in Pisces was 164 years ago in 1847 just before the Californian and Australian Gold Rush. Now in 2011, we have Gold soaring as the US dollar loses its strength. Neptune is the planet of euphoria and idealism, where one seeks dreams of a better life. It was also the time of the European revolutions and Karl Marx issued his Communist Manifesto.

Pisces rules alcohol, drugs, pharmaceutical companies, chemicals, gas, poisons, plastics, biotechnology, the sea, floods and oil. Neptune is also the planet that rules inflation and market bubbles. Oil prices are rising as the supply threats increase via the middle- east crisis. With Neptune changing signs into Pisces, the discovery of an alternative fuel source will likely occur in the next 13 years   -most probably a Gas.
